TINY DANCERS RIP 2005-2009

Maybe you've heard it on the rumour mill, or maybe you overheard a couple of blue-rinsed grannies discussing it in the Post Office queue when you last picked up your Giro, it doesn't really matter where - or if - you've heard the rumours because they are true unfortunately.

Tiny Dancers have decided to call it a day after almost 4 years of bouncing, strumming and bopping around these fair isles in search of lovely biscuits. Its obviously a tough time for the band (and for those connected to the band) but we want you to know that we are OK and that we look back at our time together with massive toffee flavoured fondness.

We would like to say a nuclear THANK YOU to all our fans, friends and family for your dedicated help and support over the past few years. We appreciate everything you have done for us and will always remember your enthusiastic and loving support.

Please watch out for the various off-shoot projects and bands that will undoubtedly spring forth from this unfortunate demise (yet more proof of life's constant ability to renew) and we individually promise not to be the 'Joey' to Tiny Dancers' 'Friends'.

With love, respect and sadness.........
dk x

Thanks you so much for the four times I saw you live, your show in Edinburgh was my gig of the year last year!

Much love guys, and thanks again.

Oh no ... I am so sad about this. I only got to see you the once, in Ullapool last August - but better that once, than never at all. You guys were brilliant and I just can't say how sad I feel that I'll never see Tiny Dancers again. All the very best, to all of you - I've such happy memories of a brilliant gig - wish I'd seen more, but hey ho. Gutted doesn't quite do justice to how I feel - only on Tuesday night I was raving about TD to my mate at a wonderful The Airborne Toxic Event gig in Manc - and she said "yes but haven't TD folded?". I was shocked to my core. No, certainly not!!! I said. Ah well. Much love and respect to you guys and I'll look out for whatever it is you do separately from now on. Thanks for the good times. I've nearly worn out my FSM CD my repeated plays - have to go get another one soon. Love, Gill (from Filey, UK). xxx I still can't quite believe it ...

Sad news indeed. Thanks for some great shows guys (even the "quiet" one at Colchester Uni on Ev's birthday!!). Good luck with all of your future ventures .... you deserve it.

I'll be keeping 2019 free for a TDs reunion of Take That proportions! ;)

Shattering, shattering news, but not unexpected. We must treasure our memories of the most innovative and special band to emerge in donkey's years: we saw and loved them at their best, and time will not diminish the magic that they uniquely created. Love and best wishes to you all in whatever you decide to do in future, and to the select and special people that were the fans of the WONDERFUL Tiny Dancers.

Best wishes

Newcastle Tiny Brian
