Green On Set Tip #6: Attack of The Phantom Power!

Empty walkie chargers,
printers, cell phone chargers and some coffee makers are still
pulling electricity when plugged in, called “phantom power”.
Usually electronics that require “memory”, such as the clock on
the coffee maker or the lights on the printer use phantom power. If
these items are currently not in use, just unplug them. Doing these
small things add up, saving money for production; less trips to fill
up the generator, and less battery re-charges for honey wagons.
Also, turn off all electronics and unplug all power strips for the
day off.
