It was a sad weekend. I came back to Lansing for a family bonfire on Saturday. Which was a blast. It was good to see everyone. But on Sunday I noticed that my cat KT didn't look right. Her right paw was about 3 times larger than her other paw! Upon closer examination I noticed that her left jaw was also swollen. She quickly took a turn for the worse. I stayed Monday and took her to the vet who gave me fluids to give her as well as some medicine. It didn't look real good. I tired to take care of her to help her thru the day and during the night. She passed away on Tuesday morning.

Needless to say that I was quite emotional all day Tuesday and wasn't much good to any one. For those that don't know KT has been my cat for 23 yrs. We received her from my cousins who had lots of farm cats. She lived a ruff life fighting with anything that she came across. She even tried to pounce on a deer!!! Usually these fights ended up with her getting hurt and needing to go to the vet. There are many stories of her escapades.

She will be greatly missed. I had wished to bring her with me to TN but was afraid that the move would be to much for her. I have many pictures of her and many fond memories. She was the best friens/pet a person I could ever have hoped for. I'm glad that she was part of my life.
