It was a simple concept, yet an ambitious undertaking, but when the flashing lights, soaring guitars and booming drums turned to silence at the end of the night Saturday, we all knew it was a success. The crowd left with a head full of diverse and incredible rock music. All for free. All for the survival of local rock music in the Inland Empire. Four bands and a solo acoustic artist brought it to the stage at Harley's bar in San Bernardino on Saturday Aug. 23. They weren't from L.A. They weren't from Orange County. ALL of them were from San Bernardino or Redlands. And they rocked!

All things considered, the night ran smoothly. There were no problems and the bands gelled well together. I'd consider that a success in itself. And that's not even considering the fact it was standing-room only before the show even began.
Bravo to the bands who helped make our Jam Bernardino kickoff a success. All Marbles, Toby Ray Jolly, Red Tuesday, Hindsight 20/20, my brothers in Sachi, you all are the best. Thank you!
To Mike Freeland and Gary Lynch from Hindsight 20/20: thanks for lending us the P.A. for the night and providing excellent sound.
To Tod from Harley's: Thanks for giving us a venue to showcase these talented bands.
To Sal Rios and Dave Whitt: Thanks for capturing video of the event. We'll be sure to Youtube some great moments ASAP. To Terry Fowler: Thank you for the killer pics!
To the people who came out to support the bands: You all delivered. Hope to see you at the next one! Thank you! Our crew, Robert, Roger and friends, you guys kick ass!
And last, but not least, thank you Gordon Campbell for designing our Jam Bernardino brahma! We're gonna spread your bull all over the I.E. LOL!
See you all at the Rustic!
