hello everyone,
lots of things have been happening. aaron and i drove from los angeles to boston and it only costs us $80 for diesel. the rest of our fuel was provided by restaurant's grease traps that we found. i am a true believer of the waste vegetable oil fueled vehicle. it is true. free gas, especially these days when it costs so much, is a beautiful thing.
thanks to all of you who came out to the movie showing and performance on sunday night. it was a great time. it was the first time that i got to see the whole movie. i enjoyed it. we are funny. the dvd and b-sides come out on november 8th. lots of movie footage and a batch of unheard piebald tunes.
and because the dvd is coming out soon, we are leaving for tour on thursday to promote it. we are touring with our good, long-time friends, hot rod circuit. we are going to do as much of the tour as possible on vegetable oil. we all have high hopes and i think it is going to go very well. the first stop is rochester on thursday. that is only two days away. all of you rochesterians had better be there.
