Well as you all know Salem has a fair amount of good bands in the community and its good to see people go out and watch these bands. But the sad thing is that back when Sister Ray, The Falcon, The Widgits, The Mopps, Phantom!, etc. where playing the shows where packed and full and it was like a big social event! But now a days the ike box hasn't had a full packed place for just local bands in a LONG TIME! Last time i remember a packed show was when Love Machine played there first concert about 2 years ago and it was the free concert. Its sad to see that not as many people aren't going out and supporting the local bands anymore, and i hope that can change sometime soon. So if your reading this you know what you should do, next time you go to listen to a local band bring your friends tell people about it, it doesn't matter who just as long as they come and can experience the local bands and the local scene. Thanks for who ever read this and took the time hopefully you can solve this little problem.
