Today, Monday, December 04th, 2006 marks the first International Tank day. A day to rejoice in the beauty of tanks and all tank related things, like tank tops.

Today we celebrate the tank in all its glory.
"What is a tank?" You may ask yourself. Well to answer your question, the tank is nature's rhinocerous. You may say: "Hey, buddy, doesn't the rhinocerous occur in nature?" and I will remind you, we're talking about the tank here today. Its not international rhinocerous day. That's April 27th.
The tank is simply put, God's answer to the rhino. He saw the rhino and thought: That's a good idea. Needs more guns.
Sometimes when a president (king, emperor, etc.) really really hates another president (dictator, monarch, etc.) they will send tanks to kill people that work for the other president (leader, czar, etc.)
So today pause and give thanks for the beauty that is the tank, and all the blessings it has brought us.

Tank Day FAQ:
Q: Is December 4th Tank Day because even though the Landships Committee created the first successful prototype tank in September 1915, the word tank didn't become official until December of the same year?
A: No, that is merely a coincidence.
