i was thinking the same.. his expression is a little different from yours.. but i sitll think you did a wonderful job.  his is a bit playful while yours is really serious.  Very catchy though, nonetheless.  Youre welcome.

second one, from a photo stand point i think the second is a more balanced photo :)

photo ideas.. playing with shadows is always cool? lol i have a photo notebook for all my ideas for shoots, there are so many post its and taped scraps of paper in there

Like I said at lj; I'm torn. But I agree with the others about the fact that it's good that both faces can be seen on the second one.. I just don't like his expression. I like yours a lot! I don't think you're too serious. :)
