THANK YOU HOBOS!
Heartfelt thanks to all the fans and friends who came out to show their support and enjoy the music on the first leg of our Spring, 2009 tour! This was, hands down, the most successful tour we've had to date. It was wonderful to see old friends and new faces at every stop along the way, and we can't wait to do it all again with the second leg of our Spring tour starting Saturday, 4/25 at the MCDOWELL MOUNTAIN MUSIC FESTIVAL in Scottsdale, AZ! We'll continue our western sojourn with stops in Solana Beach, CA (4/27, BELLY UP); W. Hollywood, CA (4/28, THE ROXY); Crystal Bay, NE (4/30, CRYSTAL BAY CASINO- CROWN ROOM) and the grand finale in San Francisco (5/1 and 5/2, THE FILLMORE). Please make sure you get your tickets ahead of time, as we are well on our way to being sold out for these shows. Tickets and info for these and ALL tour dates can be found at http://www.railroadearth.com/tourdates/

WHAT'S GOOD IN YOUR HOOD?
The family is second only to the music, which is why we've launched a new on-line community! Find or share lyrics and chords to RRE songs, view setlists from RRE shows,  trade recordings, find a ride, chat with other music lovers, find out who's in your neighborhood... all your hobo needs can be fulfilled!! http://ignoredbydinosaurs.com/forum/index.php

NEW MANDOLIN RELEASE FROM JOHN SKEHAN
Our own mandolin phenom, John Skehan, takes things in a new (old) direction with this recording of eighteenth century mandolin duets:  "John Skehan and Todd Collins perform the Mandolin duets of Emanuele Barbella". You can preview some of the music or purchase the CD at http://cdbaby.com/cd/skehancollins and join their myspace page at http://www.myspace.com/johnskehanandtoddcollins.

THIS WEEK'S FORECAST
The Forecast is a page brought to you by Railroad Earth devoted entirely to various green-related issues, environmental action and sustainability causes. Biologist Christiana Conser provides us with food-for-thought in her weekly blog, which features topics about the aforementioned issues with links, information, and tips on how to get involved. PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE. We  encourage fans to post comments and opinions on the The Forecast page, and also share with us how you are getting more involved.

This week's Forecast:

"Global warming isn't just about melting glaciers, it is changing life in forests, and the birds and butterflies in our backyards..  This week The Forecast discusses "Real Spring" - a new book that looks at the  impacts of climate change on the world immediately around us." www.railroadearth.com/theforecast

Thanks again, and hope to see you soon!
