A teacher once asked the
class to define love.
An abstract concept only
definable by
abstract terms is what we
were told.
However, I beg to differ
Love is a disease.
A peculiar virus that infect
the body and mind.
Causing:
Mood swings, endorphin
surge, depression,
Stress, tension, increased
heart rate,
nervousness, redness of the
eyes,
Increased sensitivity,
unusual behavior,
Delusions, impaired
thoughts,
Speaking to strangers,
irrationality,
Uncontrolled smiling,
internal monologues,
A change in priorities, with
an acute
side effect of time loss.
Also noted by episodic
reddening of the
the patients cheeks.
Yes, a disease it is
That unfetters emotions and
palpitates the heart.
I am willing to live with
the symptoms.
