Current mood:Yay!
Hello from TORONTO, CANADA!

I love this tour.
It's the best.
I get to ride around every day in a bus with amazing people.
And play music.
And listen to great music.
Yesterday we played and sang Beatles songs and Beach Boys songs in the front lounge.
The night before we watched the Tom Petty documentary.  Whoa.

Every night I get really excited.
The audiences have been AMAZING and not just as audiences but good hangs after, cool people, interesting.
I fell in love with Montreal last night.

The bus is full of great great people I am extremely fond of.

Joshua Radin is spectacular and I feel mighty honored every day to be on tour with him and hear his music every night and get to know him.  I love his new songs, his new record is going to be great. We went on a bike ride yesterday, I think I'm going to buy a bike today.

Gary Jules has a pulse to his music that I can't explain... regardless of rhythm or even when he stops playing and there is only silence, the pulse keeps beating, everyone in the audience is moving as one.  And his lyrics sink in and get you in the morning when you wake up and realize their depth.

The band is fantastic and gels so elegantly.
I learn a lot every day here.

It's funny going to sleep in a bunk with the lull of the wheels on pavement, there's something very comforting about it all.  And waking up, going to the back lounge and opening the window, seeing what the new city of the day looks like.  Surprises in the morning are the best.

Whoa whoa destiny?  my favorite Chopin song just started playing over the speakers in this coffee shop, I've never heard it before in public.  Bazaar.

The world is great.
Have a lovely day and hope to see you or hear from you soon.

I'm writing furiously.  Yay.

Little quote from a book I was reading this morning.... enjoy.  :)

"The poet's labor is to struggle with the meaninglessness and silence of the world until he can force it to mean; until he can make the silence answer and the Non-being be.  It is a labor which undertakes to 'know' the world not by exegesis or demonstration or proofs but directly, as a man knows apple in the mouth" - MacLeish
