Folk Alley has recently added an "open mic" feature to their site.  Songwriters can upload their work and receive "ratings".  I have uploaded several of my songs and they are doing pretty well in the ratings.  Once in a while, however, they take a steep and sudden drop, across the board, leaving me with the feeling of being attacked....lol.  It occurs to me that in a competition like this, fans can not only up the ratings....they can lower them drastically to knock someone down, who is doing well.  It's been fun to watch my ratings go up and down...and YES, I would love for you all to go to the site and rate my songs...rate them, play them and download them...but please, feel free to be honest....and don't knock anyone else down.  I believe it will all come out in the wash!

I would especially like to add, here, that Folk Alley is an awesome site!  I have SO enjoyed hearing all the new songs and they are listener supported, so please check them out.  :)
