Update!!!!

My song "Big Fat Kitty" has made the top ten contest for this month!  It is currently in fifth place, but that could change at any time, as the voting continues until May 30th!  If you haven't checked out the site, see the copy of my earlier blog (slightly edited), below, for all the necessary links!  I need your help, so sign up, listen, rate my songs and vote, vote, vote!!!! Pass this along to your friends, too!

Folk Alley has recently added an "open mic" (you will find the contest link on this page) feature to their site.  Songwriters can upload their work and receive "ratings".  I have uploaded several of my songs and they are doing pretty well in the ratings.  Once in a while, however, they take a steep and sudden drop, across the board, leaving me with the feeling of being attacked....lol.  It occurs to me that in a competition like this, fans can not only up the ratings....they can lower them drastically to knock someone down, who is doing well.  It's been fun to watch my ratings go up and down...and YES, I would love for you all to go to the site and rate my songs...rate them, play them and download them...but please, feel free to be honest.

I would especially like to add, here, that Folk Alley is an awesome site!  I have SO enjoyed hearing all the new songs and they are listener supported, so please check them out.  You have to sign up, but it's painless...really! :)
