Hello friends- I am pleased to announce that we have added a keyboard player to our band. His name is Jon Miller and he is helping to fill out our sound. So far, so good! Some of you may have caught a glimpse of him at our last show at the Thunderbird. We'll be playing again at Club Cafe Feb 4th. We have been working really hard on learning new material for our 3rd album. I have written about twenty songs, and there are a few older out-take songs that we are planning to rehash. So there will be plenty of new material to choose from for this record. I expect this record to be more of a full-length, with 12-14 songs. The challenge so far has been to learn all these new tunes while teaching Jon the old set. A slow precess for sure, but I can already hear our sound evolving. I really like the relaxed focus of our band right now. The songs are more mature, the tempos down a little, and the arrangements are more complex, particularly what we are doing with vocal harmonies. My goal over the next few months is to make this band as tight as I know it can be. Erik, Paul, and Jon share this vision. So we'll see you at the next show.
