Thank you for this! One thing I've learned is that our Guides really do speak our language. Problem being, is that we tend to "blow off" the messages they are trying to convey....and it takes SO MUCH of their energy.

You know that feeling in your gut, that tightening of your chest, those moments you kick yourself saying "I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO THAT!...? That's how learn to listen to them. 

I've always believed that quietening ourselves opens us up to them more. Meditation, gardening, a walk through nature...It's all so cleansing.  

However, trust me when I tell you that they ARE strong enough to punch through and ring our attention bells...LOUD AND CLEAR!
 

Yipppeeee!  I am on my 2nd reading of "Opening to Channel" by Sanaya Roman and Duane Packer.  It is the most uplifiting books I have ever encountered on receiving guidance from guides or higher self.  This morning, I woke up meditating and setting intention to communicate with high-level guides.  Suddenly, I heard a voice that said "do not be afraid."  I have been teetering on sheer terror ever since I lost my job 3 weeks ago.  I said, "But I am afraid!  I can't help it...I try to have faith but this is really freaking me out!"  Then the voice said, "It is ok.  Fear cannot keep you from your good because it is not real.  Do not worry if you feel fear.  And, I am always with you."  Then I said, "What is your name?"  I saw some letters in my mind, it's hard to describe...they were all jumbling in and out of each other - I - R - O -N - I asked Orion?  No.  They came back in order - ORIN.  Holy shit!  Orin, who was talking to me at a Sanaya Roman workshop in Ashland, OR and I was channeling to the lady sitting next to me what Orin was going to tell Sanaya before she said it - she totally freaked!  And, it just felt as natural and normal to me...
