I just started a new daily routine... swimming at my local pool. I've decided to start taking care of my little heart, by eating healthy and makin the heart pump (since no one is making it pump for me right now!!) ;))

today, I met Maurice. An elderly man... about 80 years old. He saw me at the pool (I've been swimming now for one month, 4 times a week) before entering... gave me one of those nicest smiles and happily greeted me to "his" pool. Told me he has been swimming there for 20 years... 4 times a week. The man has a heart of steel, and a real nice shape for his age.

I started doing my yards... and everytime I would get to the end of my yard he would be there, smiling at me... he started giving me tips about my swimming. Told me I was a real good swimmer, had real potential... he offered to give me his extra pair of goggles since mine broke. It was funny, because everytime we met at the end of the yard, he would give me his finest smile, take off his goggles, and give me a new tip. I listened to him, and smiled back, taking note of his tips. He seemed so happy... It's funny how the elderly like to greet people they don't know... I personnaly think it is so charming. It would be nice if we could all greet each other like back in the old days... no? Wouldn't it make life a little more enjoyable? I think I made his day. Anyways, I know he made mine :) Thanks Maurice.

Salut la grenouille : ) Tu m'invites la semaine prochaine ? Je veux rencontrer Maurice. Ensuite je te paye un snack. Est-ce que je dois mettre un casdebain ? Tu sais, j'ai ma certification papillon jaune en natation. A+
