That time of the year, where its not quite summer and its not quite autumn see's the Autumnatic Music festival setting up campin in Maghera this year,

The Headliners this year for the main stage in basement jack's are

WE ARE RESISTANCE
The band formerly known as Mantic kicking off their rise from the ashs in their more serious, determined and ambitious new outlook with numerous shows since their big relaunch in April and will be gracing the stage in Basement Jack's as the main attraction for this young festival...


and the headliners for the dubiously named acoustic stage (playing host to some not so acoustic acts)

DAMANTA
hailing from Canada comes Damanta, half Irish, half canadian  act gracing our shores for the forseeable future, the crashing and rushing sound of their dirty folk sound infusing funk, rock and irish traditional is a new take on what we're used to associating with the term 'trad' music over here, vocals described as a mix of jethro tull and jim morrison, this is one act not to miss...

Now that the demo submissions have now closed, the lineup for the festival will be announced in the forth coming week but dont doubt that this will be a kick ass showcase of northern irish original music with the main stage in basement jack's and the 'Acoustic' stage outside in the newly refurbished walsh's outdoor beer yard (yes this is no garden...its fuckin massive) with its own outdoor bar and BBQ which will be running through out the day of the festival providing you with enough sustenance to rock the fuck out all night long,

Tickets will not be sold this year,...it's merely pay at the door,...and for a projected 24 acts its at the menial price of £10...so watch this space for the Lineup announcement and CANCEL EVERYTHING FOR THE 29th of AUGUST,... and get ready for THE AUTUMNATIC MUSIC FESTIVAL 2009
