My name is Robert Jones, with Heavenly Sunrise singers.
On July 2nd we were in Gray, Tn.....I was wiring our bus so we would have lights and a/c, it was very warm. Alvin walked up to me and asked "What is wrong?"
I told him that I was ok, that is just hot out there in the sun, not much shade. I fixed the wiring on the bus and when I went inside, my wife Mattie asked me what was wrong.....she then explain to me what Alvin had said.....Now Alvin is our manager of the group. I told her that I was ok, and that wiring the bus up, that I may have gotten to hot, felt a little dizzy. The next week after returning home, I noticed that my vision was blurred. I waited until the next week to go to the eye doctor. He was a young guy. I notice he was very worried about my conditions....He wanted me immediately to go to a specailist....most of the time, they want U to make appointment and it takes about 2 or 3 weeks....but no, he wanted me to go right then.....I was thinking, it has been this long why worry now.....My wife drove me to the doctor office....didn't have to wait long, I guess the doctor had told them about my condition.....When the other doctor came in, checked my eyes, he told me that I had a "Stroke in the optic nerve of my good eye".....I can not see out of my left eye from birth.
He then made arrangements for me to get some blood work done and MRI.....well when they did the first mri, they thought they saw something of concern.....had to wait until the next week before I could do another one, can't do two in the same day...My friend Danny Boyd that goes to West Vancebor Church of God, had the church to pray over a prayer cloth....gave that to me.....told me to wear this before i go back....I did exactly that.....the next MRI showed nothing....The doctor just shakes his head in amazement and says, "He don't understand why I am not blind".....but I tell you, whom ever reads this....God is in the healing business....My eye sight isn't perfect, but I am driving now and I give God the praise and the Glory for it.
