Remember, remember the 5th of November
The day that a BLACK man now leads America
Through dreams of ages and battles won
To at last declare 'YES WE CAN'
Remember, remember the sacrifice of many
Who laid down their lives to achieve this glory
An era unfolds of such mighty significance
That at last America has a BLACK PRESIDENT

Remember this day, the 5th of November
Barack Obama, true SON out of AFRICA
Blessed with the vision to heal what has passed
And bring peace and love to our world at last
Arise MARTIN LUTHER and guide your son
To be wise and just for everyone
As your dream now shines so clearly bright
A beacon of hope, what a wonderful sight
Arise one and all and follow his lead
To achieve your goals and STILL BELIEVE
That anything is possible, it's in our hands
Young ones, adults, all across these lands

Remember, remember the 5th of November
BARACK OBAMA, true son out of Africa
Remember, remember this day for years to come
For he carries the hopes of everyone
