	Blackie	I am very saddened to learn that Mickie has passed away. My deepest condolences go out to his family and dear friends.   As a kid in the 70’s, my first look at Angel was in a Hit Parader that a friends mom brought home, and my first listen…was their debut album. Wow! Never had I heard anything like that, or seen men like that!   A few years ago I was blessed to have connected with Mickie, via the great social equalizer, Myspace. We spent hours and hours gabbing on the phone, Mickie telling me about how he grew up, his idols, and the rock’n’roll lifestyle that consumed him. And subsequently, his ongoing attempt to keep on moving forward with his life, regardless the struggle.   I am ever so grateful the universe brought Mickie and I together as friends allowing me to learn some important and positive things from such a creative, and precious soul.
