Current mood: angry Category: News and Politics
By now I'm sure you have seen video of a reporter throwing his shoes directly at the face of our President of our United States. In a nation where we are spending American money to rebuild and protect, we have a reporter launching a physical and verbal attack against the military's Commander in Chief. If I had been in that room at that moment, I would have broken this reporter's jaw or nose with my hardest thrown fist. I am soo sick of all these wimps that constantly HATE on this good man that tried his damnedest to protect this nation, promote freedom, and spread goodwill around the world. Despite it's many shortcomings, he freed the Iraqi people from tyranny. Out of compassion, he has given more money and aid to Africa than any President or leader in history. He has kept this homeland safe with no attacks since 9-11 and has hurt Al Qaeda severely with his agressive policies. And for the first 75 % of his administration, our nation's economy flourished with great properity under his free market approach.
And here we have a President that could have exploded with anger at a little peep squeek throwing things at his face, and yet, even as the second shoe is on it's way you see a smile creep on his face, and he then even proceeds to make a joke about the shoe being a size 10. What a kind hearted man that has been guided by principles throughout the intirety of his administration. While I disagree with his handling on many issues, I have to ABSOLUTELY admit, I greatly admire the man. And while the cowardly media will give his legacy a completely distorted image, I say that if I ever become a leader in this nation, I will let it be known that this man will have a great influence on my time in that role. Mr. President, I salute you, and hope to meet you some day. Sincerely, Airman Phillips.
Integrity First. Service before Self. Excellence in all we do.
