I added Allen as one of my heroes. Although I don't listen to Lit much I guess you can say you guys are one of my closet favorites because of your unique sound. But this isn't about the band. I added him for his love of life, and the fact that, even in the face of adversity, he didn't give up hope. It's not enough of a tribute to him, but it means a lot to me. I lost my grandmother to cancer last year and things have never been the same. It's tough when someone who's been there all your life passes on.
I'll be praying for you all, just don't forget that that love for life is what Allen left behind for all of us to share, and that we can only try to be like him.

I have met many rock musicinas that have made me feel special, but Allen touched my soul with the kindness and attention he gave my daughter at age 4. She now plays drums at age 7, and I am truely honored and proud that she calls Allen her influence!! To Allen's Mom & Dad, thank you for not only a gifted musician, but a tremendous person.

Godspeed Allen.  The beauty of music is that is lingers not only in the spirit but also out in the ether, so in that manner, you will be immortal.  And the love and memories of your family and friends will keep you alive in their hearts and spirits as well.

Allen was on of my Uncle's (David Lantow) "Groupies" when he had a band called "Madel Fang".
Well, he'll be greatly missed.

i am devistated to hear of allens passing. now everytime my buddies in kto  cover my own worst enemy ill stand up and raise my beer in honor of a great musician as well as a great showman. rip godspeed!!!!!!!!!!!

Stunned, shocked and saddened to hear the news.  The Access All Areas DVD showed how fun a band Lit are, and Allen was a unique man who I'd like to have been able to meet.  My condolances to Allen's family and the band.
