Dear Friends, I would like to give credit to the wonderful musicians who played with me on these new recordings. I recorded these three songs, which will be on my first album slated to be finished this spring, at Brent Truitt's wonderful studio in East Nashville. (You can visit him at www.btruitt.com). The recording session was done primarily live with me singing and playing guitar at once with Stuart Duncan on fiddle, Dennis Crouch on bass, and Brent Truitt himself on mandolin. We tracked those instruments and my voice together in isolation booths so it was almost like a jam session. Cello and harmony vocals were tracked during a separate session. The cello you hear on "Build You a House" is courtesy of John Catchings. Lastly, Tim O'Brien came in and sang harmony vocals on all three tracks. I can't begin to tell you how amazing it is to have my original songs brought to life by such talented musicians. I am a luck woman. More music to come. Please share these recordings with your friends and loved ones. --Fondly, Nora Jane
