nothing....because i personally don't really have much to say. everything...because i want to hear from all our friends... all the people who listen to us... is there anyone that does so on a daily basis? as we write new songs i always wonder what's our fans favorite part about Rosalines music. i'd really like to know. oh i guess i do have a real question... to those of you that own A Constant North... whether you bought it(thank you so much) or burned it from someone( its ok...we forgive you=p ) are you happy wiith it? id like you to be completely honest. did we make a quality record? if not... why? what would you like to hear more or less of? lets discuss... did you guys name The New Utah as a shot at Emarosa? if so why just curious

haha it is a result of Emarosa's Utah but its not a shot at them at all. Madison used to play in Emarosa back before Jonny, when they used to be a little harder than they are now and its no secret that they are doing wonderful now but the old Emarosa is definitely missed by alot of their fans. The New Utah is simply a continuation of where Emarosa's left off. Our little way of saying to those that miss it, hey, come take a listen, maybe that sound that you loved hasn't gone away for good.

yes. that's right and because of that I love this song. I prefer old Emarosa, no matter how unique jonny's voice is. he was better in dance gavin dance. and the emarosa ep is like rosaline's a constant north ... I just love it. hope you guys come to germany. I will make some promotion. is a better chance.

this album is amazing. that's saying by someone who lives in germany. I mean. It works for you guys. But I think too many people want this whole breakdown/brutal/deathcore/pig squealing shit. This whole trendy bands and don't see you and your music. it's sad. every single song is a fuckin' hit and that comes by someone who isn't impressionable. keep working!

thats interesting and cool i like both Emarosa's and i think band's decide for themselves whether they go lighter or darker. i feel a lot of old Emarosa fans pain because that was Emarosa and to make such drastic changes does sometimes really suck. Also the old lead singer kinda pulled Emarosa in a more christian way with lyrics and even the EP cover and his new band Agraceful, and with Jonny none of thats there. So i understand were old fans and you guys are coming from and i do appreciate A Constant North and Rosaline as a whole but some old fans need to accept change frankly we cant do shit to effect there decisions as a band anyway

i really appreciated what chris brought to old emarosa and im definitely a fan of agraceful. i feel change is inevitable, its a necessity for growth, whether its a person or a band and their music. good or bad.... change happens. we just need to always be conscious of the change and hope its it the right direction. thank you very much Tom. keep in touch.

I would like to hear some staccato on the next album! :)..
....Annnd I can't get enough of your album... I, no joke, listened to it three weeks straight on my iPod (purchased from iTunes, now you can breathe haha).  The only CD that I've listened to it for days in a row now is Thrice's new CD "Beggars"... but on the way home from work today I put back on "A Constant North."  :)..

oh man haha good question.. well i grew up in River Grove, just northwest of the city so im choices of locals might be a bit different from the rest of the crew but id have to say... Rocky Denis, they were kind of the hometown heros, along with any band this kid Albert Smart was in...Begginers Luck, Theia, such a great musician. umm we didnt really have too many standout bands like the rest of the guys did in their area. but those were some of the bands that i had fun going to see =) ummm shows?....first show... 88 fingers louie and strung out at the metro in '99 pretty much any show ive been to at the metro has been memorable. i love that place to death.

This is a quality record.  I try not to buy anything, but I could not pass up this record.  Keep up the good work.  I agree with Albert Smart.  He is a great guy.  He does my tattoos now.  He is one of those people that is just a truly awesome guy.  Anyway, you guys are awesome, keep up the good work and hopefully I will make it out to a show.  Haven't seen you guys since you played a show with Iscariot at Mojoes forever ago.

haha yeah that sounds like a really good idea. i totally agree with you and im definitely gonna bring up the idea the next time we write a break down, cause unlike the majority of the bands nowadays we dont feel it necessary to break it down in every song. but when we do, i assure you that ill do my best to make it happen. thanks man

Battlefield will be revived from the depths of its grave. It takes a certain something to raise music from the dead, but in time it'll be back.

Bring back the Angel Wings era sound. Not saying this cd is bad, it just doesn't have the same zest that all of those songs had.

this is definately an album of the year for me. but what genre are you guys? i like the whole mathcore feel and the songs are truly great. the only thing i can say though is when you guys write another album be sure to have new sound. bands that stay the same always get worse to me. and it makes everything more interesting. but yea you guys are definately an influence on me and this album is great. truly something to talk about. you guys got a great start with this album and hopefully ill see you live one day. anyway keep up the awesome work and good luck
