New CD Music and Lyrics
Here are the lyrics to a couple of our new songs you might know. Enjoy (:
"Phantoms of the Dance Floor"
I am aware, fully aware, of how hard it must be for you. No sounds composed. Only signs left of your presence. This is the feeling within that makes me tremble. Honest, I can't face this one fear. Open my mouth and tell you how you came to be. I guess this goes to show how we've become. We played it off so easily. These last few nights, reflection-less. Reflect on thoughts I've grown to miss and try and understand myself. Last night I thought I saw the eyes that haunted me so seductively. What I see never bothered me. Show yourself and I'll prove to them this is real. Apparition, you don't know what your missing. You are here with me. Hidden in the air that I breath. Your a ghost, and it's cold inside. Waiting patiently and staring through the glass back at me. This timing is perfect. I couldn't ask for anything more for you to present to me. But this is new to me. A gift that I had asked for since the day you went and buried your sorry self in my backyard. Coeincidentally I have planned this for awhile.
"War Cry"
In over my head. What am I fighting for? This job demands a callous heart. This is something I've debated for so long. We mobilize into the horizon. All is fair in love and war, so I'm armed and ready. Medication will keep you still. Hesitation will get you killed. You go first, I'll watch your back. Throw all your feelings aside-by side we bare the weight of friends in pain. The flares will lead us home safely. War cry! I can't believe my eyes.
"In Recent Headlines"
Waiting patiently for silence while her makeup is applied. Descending from her bedroom window with the sheets securely tied. Something deep down is telling her that this could be the night. Arriving at the front door she is met by two blue eyes. They waste away for one too many hours and now his vision is blurred. She never heard her conscience warning her. Crack the bedroom door they find an open window and nothing more. Filled with anger, but mostly fear. They grab their coats and pray shes safe. Breathe in. The night air is sedative. She peers at his unconsciousness. She has never been so frightened. She braces for impact. She braces for a crash. Step back! I think I see her breathing... despite that fact that she's broken from head to toe. Slow pulse. Shaking. She's too unstable now. Will she make it? It's way too soon to tell. Glass tears their lungs. Will they wake up?
Memories of life flashing before her eyes. Hemoraged inside. It's too late to save here life. Flatlines and headlights. They'll sleep forever tonight. Lying in their beds, next to her, was the family. Little did she know they were driving on that same street. Her appologies weren't heard; they came just way to late. And she'll never know they were part of this tragic fate.
"The Moon is a Catalyst"I said it every time, how I wish that you were right. I've never had the priveledge or the benefit of doubt. I notice changes. The moon embraces all the instincts that are destined to be apart of me. Lingering subconsciously. Chain me down. Hold me back. Back away slowly. I fear that I'm turning into something I can't love anymore. A secret that I've worked to conceal from everyone. Now I know there's a killer in me. It's about time to look away. No one should have to be afraid of who they are inside. Eyes are wider, teeth are sharper, moving faster, keep me far from you. Let's just hope you saved some silver from the last creature you knew. Please fend for yourself. I can't stop this now. I feel that I'm turning into something I can't love anymore. I'm not the man I used to be. I'll try my best to make up for this after sunrise.
"Architects"
We laid this foundation with something more stable, a new situation that if used correctly would only show off our craftsmanship to a new dedication to what we have grown to love. Originality won't be our last resort because you could say that finally we are content with this fort. The door is always open, we'll guard it with simple precaution. Choosing carefully who we let in. It seems like our allies are few and far. Let's start this off the right way. We'll take them by suprise. We won't give in so easily. This frame will take on anything. It's not designed to fall.
