Current mood:  catalyzed
After playing a Gibson Les Paul for 19 years, it's time for a change.  I sat in with a friend's band in Reno NV in Nov 2008 and guitarist Jerry T. had this Axis guitar from Ernie Ball music Man (EBMM).  He said, "try it out".  I played it and it spoke to me like no other guitar had in my life.  I had to have one, so I contacted EBMM and a wonderful gentleman named Derek Brooks (their artist rep.) offered me an endorsement.  I loved the "Axis Super Sport" guitar but I couldn't decide if I wanted humbucking or soapbar pickups.  So I ordered one of each.  Mr. Brooks bent over backwards to get me exactly what I wanted and worked with me hands-on to make sure I was happy.  Their guitars are the most ergonomic, light, well-balanced, well-designed, best sounding, and best playing guitars I've ever played, hands down.  Thank you to Derek Brooks for the opportunity to play the best guitars in the world!  To read more about this axe, their site is www.music-man.com.

..Hey Ham, ....I know you have had shoulder problems for years because of that heavy Les Paul you've been playing forever, so I'm glad to hear that you got a Music Man Guitar...My MM Sterling HH 5-string is SO much lighter than that '85 Stingray I have, as well as the Rickenbacker that I still tote around.
And I KNOW that if you play one, it has to be a fantastic guitar....but that ..Bo Diddley guitar.. still looks way cool..!

Be safe on the road.....
