An Artist in my head

Dark haired beauty dressed in black
On a canvas is where we meet

Overlooking what she can't possibly see
I make love with her...
With every curve I draw
This sketch is my child
The only gift I can give to her

Black strokes scratch white paper
Flaws change into perfection

My mouth lay steadfast in a bask of unsaid words...
Tears dry out by the time they reach my truth
And I love you with all of me...
But too many secrets within me
To let you see all of thee
So I will just tell you in a story of shapes
