Break Off is the official announcing of me breaking away from any other new artist in this age.
In the 1st Verse I clearly start with letting everyone know that old school is back and that I'm leading the charge! I mention that my rapping is fine, and that with my style its a signal to other real talk rappers that its time to come out and claim whats ours. I then say to throw away anything you have of soulja boys (or any of that hiffy jiggy in the club bouncin mess.) Just throw it in a kiddie pool, no one will miss it. I say that if anyone whats beef all they gotta do is spit a track and im throwin shots back. But once they write the first verse against me I want them to know that they cant take it back. Lastly in the verse I mention that the C-Towns got my back, so thats what Im about.
In the 2nd Verse I begin by letting everyone know that even though Im against all that new school club mess that Im still a dude and I like to break it down haha. I mentioned the word boogie because I like to keep it real, I dont care what words I use. Like swag? lol swag was used by pirates as a word for money. So when you hear me say swag im talkin about the jingle jangle, not the new definition. I mentioned that I remind people of the villan Hannible Hector from the movie Silence Of The Lambs, not because I eat people, but because im smart. I also meant by "traceable" that in all my songs I inplant something that makes it known its mine (just incase of a copyrighter). And lastly I mention that im not cocky at all, Im just confident in myself as everyone should be. I know what I can do and so I get it done.
3rd Verse I mixed it up a little bit but still kept it X. I started off just telling how music is such a big thing with me that verses flow through my veins, and how i rap in my sleep (which is true). I tell my secondary goal which is to touch your soul when you hear my lyrics. And after that I mention my primary goal, which is to make history with my voice and overthrow this sad period of new school music in the hip hop industry. I tell that slangin and shooting is originally what rap is supposed to be about, REAL LIFE. Then like I said I mixed it up abit and threw in my own custom dance The X lol. The fly high part of my verse wasnt a diss towards Jim Jones as some people thought, I have no problem with Jimmy. At the end I threw in my beliefs on the government alil bit as I did in Rapanormal. And finished it by letting everyone know that the Crips got my back in the old school rise to glory.
I gave a shoutout to Dj Skillz, Grain, Ceno, Killamist (Rap Group in Detroit), My Mom, All of Carrollton, and then finished with my new phrase "EAT MONEY"
