Hi there, just back in from the Tump Folk Club's opening night at our new home (Coombe Social Club) in Coventry.  It feels strange being in a new venue after 5 years at the Legion in Brinklow, but everyone seems to like the new room.  Chris Tobin hosted the evening and we had floor spots from Pete, (new) Colin on harmonica, Malc & Gill and Katherine Fear.  The guests were The Tindall Family and gave us two great sets - mixing it up between them as to who took lead vocals and played an amazing variety of instruments between them.  Thanks also to the audience (like me) Keith, Kathy, Morna, Carole, Christine, Colin King, Alan & Jack, Russell, Jim & Summer and Hannah Tobin - i hope the mini interview for 'The Wedge' turns out ok!  Next week - singaround with Colin King in charge. love, Karen x
