Hello everyone, we had a great night at The Tump last night (28 Aug) with our special guest, Ron Trueman-Border coming up all the way from Kent. We were in a different venue - for the one night only - at the home of Sty Folk Club in Coventry, and that brought in new faces to The Tump. Eddie Player hosted really well and we had floor-spots from Bob & Dave of 'Little Mountain', Dave Fry in the first half and then Norman Wheatley, Paul Pearson (all the way from Sheffield) and our Kathy Shore with her new nudist song and the 'parrots of the carribbean' song. All that and it was my birthday too!! Thanks to Linda for the cream cake! See you next week on the 4th Sept back at Coombe Social Club. love, Karen x
