Just a quick note to say cheers to y'all who cmae down to Green room on Wednesday and Dry bar on thursday. Hippocamp (Manchester's leftfield electronica net label) somehow thought it'd be a good idea for us to DJ between acts at their showcase night on Wendnesday. Between Quip, Unknown Forces and Corporate Athlete we played tunes by Fridge, Hot Chip, Nick Cave, Kraftwerk, Electralene, Josh Wink ('96 remixes no less!), Mulato Astatke and, er Doublejo(H)ngrey (Testrack remix). Oh, and the theme tune from HHGG. A great time was had by all. Top visuals from Cycloptic and Bobb Wass.

Last night, after a gruelling day at work, we played live at Dry Bar with our nemeses Viva Stereo. A cracking set from the Scottish lads (unfortunately in direct competition with their pal Malcolm Middleton) then our filth. Congratulations those of you taking pills on a school night (you know who you are), I hope it was worth it...

So I raise a glass to the Hippocamp lot, the Vivas, Beat Bromotions and of course the unflagging fans. G
