well, in just a few days we will be celebrating Reformation Day again... well, for the majority of americans it is called halloween, but it is also the anniversary of the day martin luther nailed his 95 Thesis on the Wittenburg Door... the cast cigarette that started a forest fire. it is because of this event that there is now a Protestant church that isn't under the oppression of the Roman Catholic Church. it is through these events that the Church recovered the lost doctrine of justification by faith alone, sola scriptura, and all those other great solas. tomorrow evening i will be going to an evening service celebrating the Reformation. it is unfortunate that so many churches in america have forgotten their roots and have no clue what men went through for the Protestant church to exist. so, i raise my glass to good ol' Martin Luther.
