So, it seems like there's so much going on right now. I guess I'm just excited about the weather starting to get nice and it's totally inspiring me. It's so incredible to sit outside and just enjoy it.
I haven't been playing too much recently, however that's changing. I just played a show in Atlanta with Peter Searcy and Cowboy Mouth. Holy crap!! What a show. I think I had almost forgotten what it was like to rock with a full band.
I've got a big solo show coming up on Thursday April 27th. I'm playing with a few good friends of mine at the Rudyard Kipling. We're really excited about it. Morgan Keator, one of the guys playing, hasn't played out in over a year. He is formerly of the band Carolina. Joel Henderson is just cool people, with some great lyrics. And special guest, Gillis (Jeff Smith) who...well, everyone knows Jeff!
I'm also excited because I'll have sneak preview copies of the new EP I've been working so hard on! It's called "Sobering" and it's not available yet, so make sure you get one of the first sneak preview copies to make all your friends jealous. If not, then it will be available for download sometime in the next month. I'll make big announcements about the official release date...
Anyway, things are going really well and I certainly hope to see you all out at the show next week!
