Isn't it amazing how people can say "I told you so," and yet we never see these things for ourselves, until someone says, "See, I told you so." Why do these other people see things that we don't when it doesn't even involve them? Why is it never easy to look at ourselves and the situation, see what's coming and avoid, "I told you so,"? And how come "I told you so," never seems to help the situation? Maybe we knew all along, but didn't wat to believe it. Maybe it's something we wish would have been made more clear to us at the time. Maybe we resent the snottiness the phrase implies. For once, I'd like to see the knife, before it hits my back, so that I can avoid it and the proverbial "I told you so."
