....It is also wise to come prepared to play live. This means that drummers need to have good heads on their drums and properly have them tuned both the top and bottom heads. ....

Stock.... ..heads...... that are worn out and thin will sound like garbage and thus will make you sound like garbage.....

....Same goes for Guitar and bassists. If you show up with practice amps, bad cables and noisy pedals... its all on you    ....

Wow, talk about shady.  You honestly expect a local band to not play any other venue for a total of 6 weeks.  Ridiculous!  Playing local venues are these bands bread and butter not too mention how they get their name out and build a fan base.  Doesn't sound like a very smart business move on your part at all. Way too fuck the local scene even more.

Although we encourage your thought's Holly, we feel that frankly we are doing our part to support the local scene the best way we know how by providing them with a top shelf room to work. Also , as a rule we concentrate on booking  National act's with many of the better local act's supporting these bands. frankly, we also feel that many of the Local acts would be better served in not overstatuating their market and create some urgeancy with their audience, thus increasing the draw!
   Thanks for caring,

..response to Holly..

not having bands book a show 3 weeks prior or after a Blondie's show isn't fucking the local scene, bands play too many fucking shows as it is! Unless your a bar band that plays 3 sets a night on weekends then FINE! I've had it work against a band I was in, by booking too many shows, because friends will NOT see your band EVERY time they play. They will go "a fuck, they're playing here on this day, so I can miss that show",

Many bands book 10 shows a month and can't bring more than the same girlfriend or 2 other people, that's just how it is. Blondie's like most clubs around here are fair when booking locals, try Jaxx concert club in Virgina, unless you're a NATIONAL touring act, or on a decent label, they won't even waste their fucking time with shitty locals that can't draw more than their girlfriend or 2 people. They DO book local bands for National shows, but be prepare to hussle ass to get friends to the show. That is WHY Jaxx is WORLD known among major touring bands, quiet honestly Blondie's should follow the same suit.

that's my 2 cents and I'm stickin' to it ....
