Hello. Happy Halloween from Shammy Leather and the Original Beekeepers. We really have been absolutely rubbish in saying what's been happening in the land of Shammy Leather. Hopefully now we're going to try and be a bit better. At the moment babies and children are taking up most of the band's time so whilst we're never on hold, we haven't had much time to do any new recordings. However there are a few things happening here and there. Ben and Ash have remixed a couple of the tracks from "Electric Bakery" and maybe we'll post them up online.  Tom is thinking about doing a Shammy greatest hits CD and Steve has been trying to post some of our back catalogue on line at www.last.fm, so hopefully things will happen on the web.  The Original Beekeepers might also be appearing on a forthcoming compilation from Mandolin Records (www.mandolinrecords.co.uk). We appeared on one a few years a back and got a play on Australian National Radio. The dizzy heights of fame indeed.  Also the Beekeepers have a number of tracks ready to unleash, including the near legendary Pyjama Nappies, so watch this space.
