Well, hello, there again. It's been a while and yes you're right we are rubbish at updating the news. That's because there usually isn't much but there is some today. First of all those fantabulous people at the Orchestra Pit (who put on gigs, radio shows and even put out records) have now souped up their website and puts lots of archive stuff on there. This includes the "Full Circle" recording from The Original Beekeepers which was originally broadcast on Resonance FM in 2005. Tom and Steve waffle on about the years and revisit some early recordings including a re-recording of Disc Drive. You can find it all at www.theorchestrapit.com and its well worth a look.
Also the Original Beekeepers are putting the finishing touches to their new album "Thirteens." Sort of like Music for Barges but a bit more moody, were hoping its going to be released on the obscure Danish record label D'Oorhinge L'Orange, run by Christian Kann the man behind all the BSBTA labels. We've appeared on some of their compilations before. You can check it all out at http://www.bsbta.com/doorhinge/.
Finally Shammy Leather all went to the pub last week and had a chat about doing something. Some autumnal gigs plus maybe some new recordings are a distinct possibility. That's all the news!
