Howdy Cats and Kittens.

I have been really busy touring the last bit of 2008, and I'm working on new songs for a new album. I can't say when it will be done, but we're hoping that this year we'll get it.
I've got to keep this short, but, the most recent Nothing But Nets total from all of our last tour, starting in October, was $227.31.  I'm a little disappointed in the total, but I'm very grateful to the people who pitched in.  Anyway, I think that getting the word out about Nothing But Nets is as important as the money we raise. Maybe next year we can do more. I know we're in for a tough run with our own economy, so hang in there everybody.
If you missed your chance to give to Nothing But Nets, please just go to nothingbutnets.net.
Thanks for all of your wonderful support of Reverend Horton Heat. We're going to have an exciting 2009, and we hope you do as well.

As Ernest Tubb would say, Thanks, Thanks A Lot,

Jim "Reverend Horton" Heath

When i went to the show in Seattle last year I did not see where to donate.
Going to the commodore in Vancouver hopefully donation space is easy tolocate!

Hopefully next year will be better for all of us! ....I left a message for Scott about playing the Longhorn Ballroom for our event in March, I hope that got passed along. If not this year, maybe next.....All the best!

Jim, sorry I haven't been able to keep up with everything. The "Nothing But Nets" is a new one on me. Looks like a great thing to get involved with. Let me know how we can help out here in Oregon way. I got some car clubs and other bands that I can enlist to help. We've got several other children's causes we work with and I think we can get some folks on board with this one too. ....- Truxton, Southpaw Speedway

I saw you in Indy (again / as usual) & didn't see anything ready / available to donate. I work in the auto industry, proud member of the UAW, times are tough right now for me but I would have gave a little something when shopping the depleted T-Shirt stand.....I look forward to the NEW album & you returning to The Vogue. I thank you for turning me on to different bands over the years & for coming back as much as you do.

thanks for the heads up on nothing but nets! it is astounding that so little can do so much!....i stumbled here in a period of grief over the recent loss of the beloved lux interior, but am overjoyed that the rev is still out there and kickin' it as hard as ever! (can't wait till you come back to my little town!). thanks for all that you guys give, and all you fans out there - please help the rev give even more. even if you are poor as sh^t - you certainly can afford a mere $10 (or more!) to help save a life! this is a no-brainer! ....ps - i have avoided myspace like the plague until now... but i was so touched by the message that the rev is trying to spread - i had to join. ....

Dear Reverend Heat,..I just saw you perform live for the first time last night (02-12-09 at Humboldt State University), and I am enraptured to say that I am a sinner no more. I have enjoyed your (and Jimbo's) music since first seeing the Psychobilly Freakout video on some obscure compilation sometime back then...but, as I'm somewhat easily distracted, I didn't actively follow your continuing work. I have seen the error of my ways, and humbly ask to be accepted into the congregation...Glory Halle-f*%kin-lujah, ..-Robjira- Arcata, CA...

I'm gonna go to the Nothing But Nets website right now, Jimbo. I remember u guys telling us about it in Detroit a couple months ago, but probably had one shot too many and forgot about it. Sorry. RHH fans should and can do way better.

Maybe ya'll got enough $$ for Jimbo to payback that 14 year-old boy he ripped-off for his bass and amp back in '84...

Thanks for the heads up about nothingbutnets.net. Haven't heard of the charity before, but think it's an awesome idea.
