tj compton a 7 year old child is battling brain cancer. he was initially diagnosed on june 22 with a brain bleed, but a ct scan revealed a baseball-sized tumor on the boys left frontal lobe. surgery to remove the tumor lasted 13-hours but because of the location ,not all could be removed the tumor was multiforme (gbm), wich is most common and aggressive type of primary brain tumors. tj's surgery at cincinnati childrens hospital left him unconscious for several days. his mother rhonda strunk is a student at the tennessee technology center at huntsville/oneida's cosmetology program. she is four weeks from graduation but has put it on hold his father kevin strunk has takin a 12 week leave from his position at sunrise childrens services thay have been staying in the ronald mcdonald house in cincinnati tj will under go six weeks of chemo-therapy and radiaition to try to kill the remaining cancer cells with his hospital stay to be atleast 4 mounths ....
