MIDWEST SINGER-SONGWRITER TAKES ON LOS ANGELES

[CHICAGO, July 29th, 2009] – MER, Chicago favorite and touring sensation,
teams up with GODIY Records and 387 Productions for a unique acoustic
performance at The Mint in Los Angeles, Ca on Sunday, August 2nd 2009.

MER has built his solid mid-west following by averaging 200 shows a year,
performing with the likes of Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Rusted
Root, Violent Femmes, The Pat McGee Band, Will Hoge, Marc Broussard,
Liquid Soul, Gin Blossoms, Better Than Ezra, and  more.  MER has won the
spotlight of Chicago’s: WXRT-FM, WTMX-FM, ABC 7, CLTV, Fearless Radio,
Chicago Acoustic Underground, and even premiere digital entertainment
company VerveLife.

MER's single 'All I Want' was selected to be a part of the GODIY Records
2009 compilation disc. As a result, MER headlined the Los Angeles based
indie label's showcase at the House of Blues Chicago on February, 12th
2009. With the continued support of GODIY, MER teams up with 387
Productions to perform at one of Los Angeles' most historic venues, THE
MINT.
