Hey kids! Just letting you know that the Wizrocklopedia's Wizard Rock People's Choice Awards are now open for nominations! This is a great opportunity for you to not only recognize your favorites in the wizard rock community, but to find new ones! There are a lot of categories and you get to nominate two for each, so once you've filled in as many categories as you can by memory, get on MySpace and look for new bands!

Only band activity in 2008 is eligible for nomination, so check with the bands or the Wizrocklopedia to find out what came out last year! This way, your nominations will count. We're eligible for quite a few categories, but here are the specific things we did in 2008:

-Our second full-length album, What About Myrtle? was released in July 2008. Any of the songs off of this album are eligible for song categories, as long as they fit in the category.
-Our 2008 collaborations: "Aesthetically Pleasing" with Ginny and the Heartbreakers, "All I Think About" with The Mudbloods, "Fred, George, and Myrtle" with Gred and Forge
-Metawizardrock songs: "Transparent", and Lauren Fairweather's solo songs "Post-Potter Depression" and "I'm Going to Hogwarts" off of Devil's Snare (this muggle album was released in 2008 as well, but it contains some wizard rock songs).
