BIOGRAPHY:

Jax Zero is a young talent from Slovenia. His love for electronic music started when he heared his first four-on-the-floor beats on MTV.  At that time it was mostly dance music and more commercial stuff. Then one girl changed his life. She introduced him to hard techno scene which was something really different from MTV music. He quickly fell in love with it and started visiting parties.  He met some DJs and got to know more about their work. He decided to buy a pair of Technics and started mixing himself. The feeling of vinyl in his hands was nothing like he had ever imagined. This was what he wanted to do from now on. He started spinning in clubs and everything was going well but he wanted something more. Something that would make the tracks sounding like he wanted them to be. The only solution was to make his own tracks and this is what he had to do. A friend introduced him to Reason and he quickly started making his own beats. After a year and dozens of tracks he switched to Ableton and discovered a whole new world. In the meanwhile he was still visiting parties on every occasion but something has changed. He started to spend more and more time on the second floor where DJs were playing more relaxing house music. Fast distorted beats were replaced by the beautiful sound of melodies, funky grooves and thumping basslines. Huge inspiration was found there and he spent whole days behind the computer creating new sounds. Now he is focusing mainly on producing more progressive style of house but is still opened to all kind of electronic music. He is also running a project called M&F with his friend Mack Stream where they produce and perform together. Jax Zero is an artist full of ideas and potential. Expect to see and hear more of him in the future...because you will.

INFLUENCES:
Biggest inspiration are DJs who play fresh tracks at parties and give me new ideas. Sweedish House Mafia, Pryda, Deadmau5, Daniel Portman, Jerome Isma-Ae, Ahmet Sendil...

YOUR RMX FOR MTP REC:

I really liked the original track but I wanted to give it a bit more energy and party feeling. I am not really a fan of long breaks so I tried to make a good groove troughout the whole track so it would get everybody on the floor bouncing.

BIOGRAPHY
As a kid of the end of the eighties and begining of the 90s (born on november 7th,1988), you must be interested in modern music. Well, some of those kids
started making their own music.
It was a pastiche, mixture of everything, so
called postmodern music.
Dusan, as one of 1000s of them started making his own music on Commodore 64.
Of course, it was primitive and childish music, because he was only three years old. But, passion to computer music continued and leveled up. First projects were some kind of hip hop. Later, due to inluences of the Kraftwerk, he started making electronic music. In middle school, he started experimental electro project called Ducer. Under that pseudonim, he have 8 releases. Last one ( THE VERY LAST ) came out on 5th of August 2009.
After that,he decided to make electro and house music under his own name Dusan Jevremovic, and under pseudonim Gliese581 to make experimental techno sound.
Idea of Gliese581 came in one night when he was (as usualy) had a little chat with
his friend about the begining of the universe. Well, he remembered Gliese581,
one of nearby star systems, and decided to give his project that name. Soon, two
part album called TAKE OFF came out for Wandler Re:Bg platform.
Gliese581 became the most important artist on this label. Next stu,, is being prepared, and wonderful career can start.
As live performer, he is booked almost every weekend. As Dusan Jevremovic, as
Gliese581, too.

INFLUENCES:
Erol Alkan, Ellen Allien, Cheekbone, Kraftwerk, Dubfire, Secret cinema, Laibach,
Autotune, Ben Sims etc.

YOUR RMX FOR MTP REC:
This remix is some kind of expression and impression at the same time. I am saying that because I needed just an hour to start and finish it. When I have heard original, I knew what I want: URBAN SONG. This remix is something that should fit for clubs, less for the open air, and not to fit for home listening at all. So, this is actually made for DJs who want to make a real clubby atmosphere.

BIOGRAPHY:

Benny started making music at around 1989
by influences of the growing popularity of hip hop music. Artists that inspired him back in those days were Public Enemy, Eric B & Rakim, NWA and Gangstarr. With primitive use of cheap equipment he managed to lay down some beats on which some of close friends started writing rap lyrics. In this time he also started collecting vinyl with which the dj-ing skills started to evolve.

After a couple years and some rap gigs later, house music started to grow in popularity. His musical interests started to shift a little bit and he began to experiment with creating this type of music. Role models started to emerge in the shape of house dj’s and producers. The main style Benny was interested in was hardcore house in those times. Dj’s and producers that were a huge inspiration were Buzz Fuzz, DJ Weirdo, Paul Elstak, Lady Dana and many more. Hardore house was at its peak in Holland and Benny started dj-ing at small rave parties.

When the hadcore house scene started to calm down a little bit, Benny began producing other types of house music like funky house, tech house and electro. Not in particularly one style on its own, but mostly a mix between these kinds. He either created traks from scratch or made remixes of all sorts of original material. This is the time when remix competitions became popular among producers, so he decided to enter a couple too. This didnt go down unnoticed. After some high rankings and also being asked to do remixes by other producers, he won his first contest and signed his first record deal.

INFLUENCES:

Dramirez, Hardwell, Fedde le grand, Erick-E, Steve Angello, Laidback Luke, Roger Sanchez, Dr Dre, N.e.r.d

YOUR RMX FOR MTP REC:

For the Bla Bla remix I wanted create a unique sound and groove. Inspiration came after cutting up some weird loops and sounds and I started to play around with them. I choose to only use the vocals of the orginal track, and not the synth lines, because i wanted to be sure to get a unique and different sound. After many days, nights, cigarettes and beers later the result was there.
