I’ve been accepted for Difficult Working Class Heroes which
takes place in October. Am very much looking forward to the set. Also, the
album has been getting a little more airplay – thanks to Jim Carroll for
playing it on his Far Side programme. Attached is a clipping of a review in The
Sligo Champion.
I’m continuing to write with a lot of my time going towards
this Indiecater compilation composition. I’m very happy with how the song is
turning out –it’s uptempo and a little melancholic – falling somewhere between
‘Long Day’ and ‘Changeling’. I hope to record it proper in late October. Working title is ‘Jongmyo Shrine’.
Another tune I’m working on I had initially planned to be a
poem and though usually I approach lyrics and poems in very different ways, I
find this time it translates well. Its working title is ‘Oh Vast, Vast
Sublime’.

Here’s
a new recording of Morning Mist - taken from a show I did at The Purple Sessions in Drogheda
in July. I'm looking forward to recording this but it will be on the long finger for the time being.
