Hi,

Some more album reviews in here on Subba Cultcha (4/5), in the Limerick Event Guide (4/5) and happily a wee mention in The Irish Times' New Music Section

I'm writing away - nearly finished the song I mentioned in the last post - all lyrics written, now they just need to feel fitting on my tongue. At this point I have 8 new songs I want to put on my next album plus a few duds that may worm their way. Then there are a few that didn't fit on Whisper which probably need a little work. This may seem hasty but I finished recording Busy Whisper last year so I must march on. It is indeed starting to take shape. But far far away in a far off time.

I have finished the song for Indiecater and will record it before the end of the year. I'm really happy with it  - it falls somewhere between Changeling and Long Day. Upbeat melancholy. A cello and piano affair I think.

My friend Harry Rambles (who plays on Partings on the album and other songs live) has a band called Los Alamos. An excellent live act - they're a big band who do covers of everything from Springsteen to Otis Reading and they put on a real show.  I think they're playing again in October so check them out.

That's all folks,

P
