sorry, i feel slightly behind with this, so i've compressed it down to do a few days at once. looking forward to coming home and rocking the UK!
day 9
We spent the most part of today driving. Melbourne to Canberra. Roughly 9hrs on the road, but the scenery here is awesome. Unlike the UK you can go hours without seeing a single town or even service station. Tonight's show was the smallest of the whole tour. It was in a 200 capacity youth centre with no stage. There was no soundcheck's or entry to the venue before 6pm so we entertained ourselves at the bowling alley across the road. We didn't fair up too well against the Amity and Hopeless boys though. The show was as expected pretty messy, it was completely sold out and Canberra seem to enjoy a good ol fashioned mosh. They also gave us our first international wall of death. Because we're so metal.
day 10
Sydney today! We began the day being touristy and visited the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. We then went to a place called Paddy's Market, kinda like Camden Market. This was one of the biggest shows on the tour, and i'd say it was arguably the best show so far. Sydney kids are awesome! We also met a few people from the UK there too, it was nice to talk to people who don't laugh at our accents for a change :P
day 11
Castle Hill, i've never heard of you before but you seem like a very nice town. Its an hour outside of Sydney so the drive was pretty easy, although it was an afternoon show we still had to get up at an unhealthy hour to be there by midday. The show was fun. Third sell out on the trot which is incredible. I can use one word to describe the crowd in Castle Hill, polite. I told them this. They responded politely. Good clean fun. We saw a cloud today that formed the word 'life'. It was beyond perfect, check our Twitter to see a picture. We're convinced maybe a plane had made it. Although no one saw any evidence of this. It continues to astonish me.
day 12
Today
We're in Wyong. I got exetremely sun burnt. We saw a funnel web spider. We bought 10 2litre bottles of Mountain Dew for $10. We ate our first Hungry Jacks, which we know in the UK as Burger King. Jack got hit in the face with a frisbee and drew blood. We all alughed. We played another very polite show.
