Hi Friends

Thought it was time to put out a newsletter to update you on all the news, and we will put one out at the start of each month   

It’s been a very busy time for the first half of the year and we have enjoyed hosting Impact 09 in Sydney and Brisbane, ACG stall at Easterfest, and attending the Gospel Music Association (GMA) Conference on Gold Coast, as well as keeping the ACG rolling along.

Just to update you on new things at ACG:

·         New ACG facebook added, so feel free to join as a friend, and let your friends know.  We will be developing it over time, but the ACG MySpace will remain as our main site.   see http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/pages/Aussie-Christian-Gigs/39563094830?ref=ts

·         The start of each month ACG releases the ACG Top 5 Christian Music Update on the MySpace and facebook sites.

·         Good news as we are now partnering with Christian today internet magazine, and they are also including ACG Top 5 Christian Music Update on their site, plus we are also providing articles on bands and gigs.  See  http://au.christiantoday.com/culture/

·         Check out all the new blogs on the ACG MySpace for Christian music networks, artists, bands, as well as all the regular ones.  So keep checking them out and adding your comments there.

·         We are always on the lookout for people with passion for Christian music to join the ACG street team, ACG contacts in each state, or can help in other ways, just drop us a line.  ACG wants to network with those involved in Christian music to see Christian music further flourish in aussie, so drop us a line if you would like to network with us.

·         Check out all the new gigs on the ACG Gig Guide on the MySpace, and keep adding your gigs as comments.  And the good news is your can still view the ACG MySpace if you not a member of MySpace.

·         If you are Christian gig or festival organizer, we are always happy to promote and support you, so please contact us.

UPDATE FOR CHRISTIAN BANDS AND ARTISTS  ON OPPORTUNITIES

Thought it was about time we provided Christian musos with an update on what features of the ACG sites you can use, especially as many have been asking..

ACG provides a myspace, facebook and also twitter sites to promote Christian gigs, bands and artists. 

All of our sites are becoming very popular and growing at a fast rate throughout Aussie with fans, bands and artists, so it certainly worth using the sites to promote your band.  We are developing contacts in each state to further grow the interest in the sites and Christian music.

Just a word of explanation,  ACG supports both Christian bands and artists and those who are Christians in bands.  And we have provided opportunities for you to promote your Christian venue gigs and 18+ venue gigs.   So here we go.

ACG has a ACG CHRISTIAN GIG GUIDE on the home page for Christian gigs at Christian venues.

ACG also recognises there are many Christian bands and muso playing at 18+ venues, so we have started a new blog,  ACG BANDS & ARTISTS GIGS,  where bands and artists promote can add all their gigs.

Add all your gigs as a comment to the home page, so we now about them  

Add your other info to the other blogs such as BAND LIST,  ARTIST LIST,  WANTED for Band Members, Gigs, Equipment,  and OPPORTUNITIES.

See the ENCOURAGEMENT blog for yourself or you may have something to add for other musos.

Under the DISCUSSIONS section, you can also add your band news and info to the topics.
