Current mood:  inspired
No Direction Home.

If you haven't seen it. Watch it.

It makes you realize that out of all the many
wonderful, unbelievable musicians that exist
Only one, every now and again, really says something.
Not just to say something
Bob Dylan said things that needed to be said
He was so awake, and everyone else was sleeping
and everything just came out in these songs
and some people started waking up.

thats what music should do.

there are some hidden truths
that are just looking for a way to stop hiding
because they need to be discovered
sometimes people need a way to hear things
or a way to see things
so truth starts coming out in some form
people can understand
In Visual art, or in writing...
as long as it can escape,
our leaders,
the people who have dared to question
and to look for answers....or to just be.
They're vessels for these wonderful ideas to seep through
so that all this truth and meaning can get to us,

it doesn't always work....sometimes there are to many distractions.
It seems harder now because we're creating more noise than we were before. And sometimes it's difficult to listen with all that sound humming around.

So when will the next powerful truth hit?
when will silence come back to quiet the chaos
and make it easier to hear the faint whisper
of the muse trying to reveal to us her secrets?

it's not quiet enough yet.
It's like we're all waiting around for some terrible
disaster....then we'll start listening

I hear these questions in Dylan's songs, And though they are questioning
there is such clarity. Like he's at peace with the mystery.

How many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky?
Yes, 'n' how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
Yes, 'n' how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

....Well what can I say, watch "No Direction Home"
it sparked my brain....
