Faith is a powerful tool, a useful tool, a flexible tool, a human tool.It can be blindly, openly, unconditionally, or tentatively followed and observed. And to the individual who observes faith in whatever form they choose, none other have the right or the power to take it from them.Such faith can be denounced, ridiculed, ignored, condemned or supported. But only a contemptuous, arrogant, self centered fool will deny and condemn the right of the individual to practice faith in any form, for any reason. Regardless of how sensless and destructive; how fullfilling or enigmatic one's faith may appear to be to another; faith is an individual right, an individual tool.It is not tangible, it has no form or agenda; it is none other than a state of the individual mind.

I have faith that I can accomplish a desired result when I set out to create art.
The individual opinion of others may vary from like to dislike, for many reasons.
I cannot and wil not deny the individual right to interpret my art.
Just as I will not deny myself to create as I see.... to record faithfully... to embelish and extrapolate in acordance with intention and faith in my ability and right to express myself without fear of condemnation.

Well said Ian.  I have not checked in since I've been back from Africa, but I hope that this finds you well.  Your work is amazing...simply put.  If someone sees your work and loves it, great!  If someone sees your work and HATES it, at least you've stirred something within them that has caused them to RESPOND.  This is better by far than indifference.  ..
....Much respect,....Kimmie..
