So, due to a band changing their name to "Wherewolves" last month, we've decided to change ours.

Should they have checked to see if anyone had the name beforehand? Yes, but let's not get into that. We think having the same name as someone else is lame so we're changing it.


They're more established than we are and it's only fair that they keep it, though we've had it for a year longer. Sure we're somewhat annoyed at having to change the name so far into it, but whatever.

Anyways, we've changed our name to Allen Freed! Woooooooo!


Some background on the name:
I was reading up on some '60's history and stumbled onto a scandal that was dubbed, "payola". A man named Allen Freed, who was a '60's disc jockey was convicted for being paid to play certain records on the radio, thus causing an obvious bias. And, don't quote us, but Allen Freed is supposedly credited with coining the term, "rock and roll". Pretty dope, eh?


We're sorry if you don't like the name, but we do, so suck it.



Our new, as of yet, untitled EP is dropping at the end of the month, and features British band Ludwig Amadeus, production from De'vion, features from Avion, and look out for us on other collaborations with artists such as Shadow! Oh, and look for our remix EP dropping soon after our untitled EP!
