and the moral of this story???..... Emily rose is the greatest gift of all!!!... is that it?? Cause thats what I got out of it :)
or was all the rope and everything a metaphor for convention.. thus letting us know that you can not be BOUND by convention?

This also reminded me of an emergence from a cocoon! did you undergo any particular changes while inside?...
and one more question... was this your attempt to capture the attention of the BDSM crowd?...

This is SO fucking cool! And hot! I love the music and the lighting and everything about it! Who did the music? Do you have a higher res version of the video? Was this done as a performance in a club or something? Amazing.

Krystine the Anametamystik
As the talker (MC) and person who arranged this all to happen, I can confirm the following:
This was in a club called the Works during a show in late December at an annual event called the Erotic Playground. I knew the promoter. I simply asked if I could bring my sideshow to the show to liven up the night in one of the band time slots. This is a timelapse of the last fifteen minutes of the hour long sideshow that featured such traditional, astonishing feats as glass walking, razorblade regurgitation and so much more with a few magic acts by Emily Rose. It was a small, tough crowd, but nonetheless, everyone had fun.
Houdini used to perform a similar stunt called the "100-foot tie". The basic premise is that he could get out of whatever way a volunteer could tie him up using a 100 feet of rope. The two volunteers took about 12-15 minutes to tie Emily up while I pretty much stood there with the mic giving a highly amusing commentary about their ability to tie her up (or lack thereof). Emily took at most two minutes to get out.
Naturally, since Emily's performance was during the holiday season, she was tied up with 100 feet of green rope, 100 feet of red rope, 6 ft of chain with pad lock, a roll of wrapping paper and a santa hat... all new in package from a local dollar store. It was the best five dollars I ever spent that day.
As for Emily's enjoyment of BDSM, I leave that up to her to speak on. This act tends to fit in well at erotica events, music concerts and street festivals. I simply consider the 100-ft Tie to be a very versatile and low-cost magic act with very high potential for audience participation and entertainment. At least it's nothing like drinking motor oil or eating a lightbulb.
-Krystine
P.S. As for her fear of spiders, the allegedly dangerous spider that was supposed to walk on Emily decided to molt that afternoon and was unavailable as she peeled through her old exoskeleton to grow. Nonetheless, Emily did get a chance to handle a really big snake. My tarantula waits to feast upon Emily in fairy form or some crickets. Muhahaha.
